MONDAY
ORLANDO – ST. AUGUSTINE – SAVANNAH

Board your motorcoach and journey North towards the old South.
You will visit the oldest city in America, St. Augustine, settled in
1565. Arrive in the afternoon to charming Savannah. Take a sightseeing
tour and soak in the old-world charm of the historic district
and wander through all the unique shops and restaurants that this
seaside jewel has to offer.

From the “old South” to the “new South”, today you depart for
Atlanta. A stop at historical Stone Mountain is essential; it’s the
world’s largest free standing piece of exposed granite and the world’s
largest high relief carving. The rock’s top attraction is The Summit
Skyride. This high-speed Swiss cable car provides a stunning view of
the Confederate Memorial Carving as it transports guests more than
825 feet above ground to the top of Stone Mountain. From the top,
experience amazing views of the Atlanta skyline, the Appalachian
Mountains and more. Arrive in Atlanta in the evening.

ATLANTA – NASHVILLE (250 M / 402 KM) |
Morning sightseeing tour of one of the most cosmopolitan of cities in
the South. Atlanta is home to CNN, Coca Cola and has hosted the
1996 summer Olympics. Olympic Centennial Park, created for the
games held in Atlanta, has 21 acres of green space, rock gardens
and artwork. In the afternoon, continue westward towards Nashville.

THURSDAY

Discover Nashville today, the musical epicenter of the South. From
the Nashville Hall of Fame to the Grand Ole Opry and Music Row,
Nashville is all about the music. Later, head towards Memphis, where
your musical journey continues into the land of Mississippi Delta
Blues and Rockabilly. An afternoon tour highlights Elvis Presley’s
Graceland, Mud Island, and the Beale Street Entertainment District.

Leaving modern Memphis behind, your tour takes you southward
through the route of the Old Natchez Trail. The 444-mile Natchez
Trace Parkway commemorates an ancient trail that connected
southern portions of the Mississippi River to salt licks in today’s
central Tennessee. Over the centuries, the Choctaw, Chickasaw and
other American Indians left their marks on the Trace. Arrive in the
evening to New Orleans, the “Big Easy”.

A morning sightseeing tour highlights this magical Mardi Gras city,
from the French Quarter seeped in Creole history to the Garden
District with its stately homes. This afternoon is free to visit nearby
historic plantations or enjoy some jazz at many of this great city’s
landmark venues, like Preservation Hall.

Morning free for last minute shopping before departing for a ride
along side the Gulf of Mexico, passing Mobile, AL on the way to
Pensacola, a Naval center and site of some of Florida’s most beautiful
beaches. Be sure to watch the sunset!

Today’s journey will take you past more of Florida’s pristine beaches
before turning inland and into the contrasting Florida landscape.
